Project Manager - 6 Month Fixed-Term (Plantrooms)

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager for a 6‑month fixed‑term contract to lead plantroom projects across London and the South East. The role combines office‑based planning at our Rochester head office with regular site visits to client locations. You will work autonomously, preparing quotes, managing contractors and supporting senior managers, with the possibility of a permanent position after the contract. The business maintains pumps, pipework and plant rooms for blue‑chip and local clients, and you will help expand its tender pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise contracts across multiple projects.
• Sign off on work completed by contractors.
• Maintain and develop client relationships.
• Conduct regular site surveys and visits.
• Procure materials required for plantroom projects.

Required profile

• Background in Mechanical, Plumbing or Electrical engineering.
• Experience in contract management within MEP or plantroom environments.
• Full UK driving licence.
