Project Manager – Aerospace Structures

About the role

We are seeking two permanent Project Managers to lead the design, manufacture, installation and site‑acceptance testing of specialised structures for the aerospace industry. You will coordinate global engineering, production and logistics teams while maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects ranging from £10k to £1M from planning through delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and milestones.
• Act as the primary customer interface, handling contracts, changes and expectations.
• Monitor cost, schedule, risks and performance metrics.
• Oversee construction, installation and testing of specialised facilities.
• Coordinate cross‑functional global teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Background in project, programme or construction management.
• Engineering or construction‑related qualification, or equivalent experience.
• Strong planning, risk management and budget control abilities.
• Experience managing specialised or controlled‑environment builds is preferred.
• Confident, customer‑facing communicator.
