Project Manager – Defined Benefit Pensions

About the role

Diligenta is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of a defined benefit pensions project or workstream. The role is fixed‑term until the end of 2026 and is based in Bristol with a hybrid/remote working model.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a project or workstream on time, within budget and to scope.
• Apply project management disciplines including planning, resourcing, scheduling, monitoring, reporting and risk management.
• Establish and manage the project team structure, resource allocation and task prioritisation.
• Produce budget reports, forecasts and manage project expenditures.
• Ensure the final deliverable meets the original business requirements.
• Manage supplier relationships and coordinate with technical partners and software vendors.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering projects within defined benefit pensions or similar finance programmes.
• Strong ability to organise and motivate project teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Capability to handle budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for projects.
