Project Manager – Energy (Nuclear)

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to join the Energy unit within the Nuclear, Defence and Civil division of Mott MacDonald. The role involves technical project management of multidisciplinary nuclear projects, ensuring safe and effective delivery in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute project strategies and plans to meet scope, cost, schedule and quality baselines.
• Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure compliance with legislation, CDM regulations and engineering standards.
• Provide accurate performance updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Identify and manage risks, issues and corrective actions to protect project baselines.
• Maintain strong internal and external relationships and support client interactions.
• Work closely with project and engineering managers and other disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills for coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in managing complex, highly regulated projects within the nuclear sector.
• Ability to monitor risks and implement corrective actions.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations, relevant legislation and engineering standards.
