Project Manager

About the role

Formation Tech is seeking a driven, delivery‑focused Project Manager to own end‑to‑end delivery of customer and internal projects across its professional services portfolio. This client‑facing position operates with a high level of autonomy, bridging sales handover, technical delivery, and service‑desk transition.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of projects from sales handover to service‑desk transition, ensuring scope, timeline, budget and quality targets are met.
• Coordinate internal teams, suppliers and third‑party partners to achieve timely delivery.
• Maintain project governance, including reporting, documentation and status communication.
• Act as the primary customer contact, providing regular updates and managing risks.
• Own risk, issue and dependency management, escalating early when needed.
• Drive change management, balancing commercial impact while updating scope of work.
• Oversee technical design reviews in collaboration with the Head of Technology.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude towards identifying and resolving project delays.
• Commercial awareness with responsibility for project P&L, WIP control and billing readiness.
• Experience in managing projects within cybersecurity, networks or voice solutions is advantageous.
