Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to join the Southern Water team based in Falmer, East Sussex. The role is full‑time (40 hours per week) and does not include sponsorship.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with Kier teams, clients, designers, stakeholders and suppliers to meet project objectives.
• Provide leadership and direction to the project team, identifying and developing talent.
• Foster a positive, productive work environment that reflects Kier’s culture.
• Manage procurement of equipment, materials and services, keeping the budget and programme on track.
• Implement Kier policies, procedures and standards, including health and safety, to deliver the project safely, on time, within budget and to required quality and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Full driving licence.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in construction management, engineering or a related field.
• Experience delivering a variety of projects in the water sector.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
