Project Manager – Station Information & Security Systems

About the role

Join Northern as a Project Manager responsible for delivering Station Information & Security Systems (SISS) across the Northern network. You will lead projects that enhance safety, accessibility and the overall passenger experience at our stations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SISS projects from concept through to completion on TRU and TfGM station enhancement programmes.
• Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
• Control project scope, schedule, costs, risks and governance.
• Collaborate with Network Rail, contractors, local authorities and internal/external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with railway standards and health & safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven project management experience, ideally with a recognised qualification.
• Experience delivering SISS projects in the rail industry.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Commercial awareness and knowledge of health, safety and railway standards.
• Degree‑level qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
