Property Loss Adjuster – Home Based (South East England)

About the role

We are seeking a Property Loss Adjuster to work from a home base in the South East England region. You will manage a mixed portfolio of commercial and domestic property loss claims, handling each case from initial report through to final settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and investigate property loss claims up to £100,000, with a focus on commercial accounts.
• Prepare detailed loss reports and negotiate settlements with policyholders and contractors.
• Maintain accurate claim records and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Travel within the M11 corridor (London to Cambridge) and surrounding counties to conduct site inspections.
• Provide regular updates to clients and internal teams throughout the claim lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling both domestic and commercial property loss claims on a cradle‑to‑grave basis.
• Ability to work independently from a home office while meeting travel requirements.
• Willingness to pursue professional qualifications (advantageous but not essential).
