Property Loss Adjuster

About the role

This position is with a well‑established global insurance firm, offering the chance to manage commercial property claims from initial notification through to settlement. You will work autonomously, handling a varied portfolio that includes both SME losses and more complex commercial exposures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial property claims up to £150k from first notification to settlement.
• Maintain your own diary and caseload with a high degree of autonomy.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with brokers, insurers and policyholders.
• Produce clear, accurate reports while upholding technical standards.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues on larger or more complex losses when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Property Loss Adjuster.
• Demonstrated experience handling commercial property claims.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proactive, organised approach with the capacity to manage own workload.
• Holding or working towards a CILA or Dip CILA certification is advantageous.
