Property Manager – Residential Lettings (Basingstoke)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Manager to join a busy lettings team in Basingstoke. You will be responsible for overseeing a local portfolio of properties, ensuring smooth tenancy operations and delivering high‑quality service to both landlords and tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for landlords and tenants, managing day‑to‑day enquiries.
• Conduct property inspections, coordinate maintenance works and monitor contractor performance.
• Handle tenancy renewals, check‑outs, rent arrears and maintain up‑to‑date compliance documentation.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
• Maintain accurate property records, tenancy files and communication logs.
• Promote additional services such as rent guarantee and mortgage products where appropriate.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential property management or a similar role within the property sector.
• Strong knowledge of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities with landlords, tenants and contractors.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage a varied workload in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Understanding of lettings legislation and Renters' Rights reforms.
