Proposal Manager – International Tender Lead

About the role

2JCP is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to lead the preparation of technically and commercially robust proposals for international energy and industrial projects. You will own the full tendering cycle, from reviewing customer requirements to handing over awarded projects to the execution team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex tenders from initial review through submission, clarification and project handover.
• Review RFQs, technical specifications, drawings, contracts and other tender documentation.
• Develop tender strategies, schedules and proposal preparation plans.
• Lead bid meetings and coordinate inputs across all relevant internal departments.
• Ensure technical, commercial and contractual inputs form a clear and consistent proposal.
• Coordinate cost estimates, schedules, cash flow, subcontractor involvement and tender risk assessments.
• Manage customer communication, clarifications, proposal submissions and presentations.
• Meet deadlines and continuously improve tendering processes and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in tender or proposal management, sales or engineering within a comparable industry.
• Experience in at least one of the following sectors: gas turbines, power generation, carbon capture, hydrogen production, waste‑to‑energy, power grids or renewable heating.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements, specifications, contracts and drawings.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of project cost, schedule and quality drivers.
• Current residence in the Czech Republic or the United Kingdom.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work outside standard hours when deadlines require it.
