Public Health Quality and Assurance Manager

About the role

Bristol City Council's Public Health team is looking for a full-time, permanent Public Health Quality and Assurance Manager. This is a key leadership role that supports the effective operation of Public Health services, manages business processes, budgets, governance arrangements and compliance requirements, and provides project and contract management support across the service.

The council wants someone who combines strong organisational and analytical skills with the ability to build effective relationships across a complex organisation, and who is highly organised and able to deliver continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Experience in governance, quality assurance, project management or business management
• Ability to build strong relationships and deliver continuous improvement
• Applicants must show how they meet the essential criteria in the Person Specification to be shortlisted; desirable criteria may also be considered
