Publicist – Film & Disney+ Studios

About the role

Join the Studios UK Publicity team and help bring iconic entertainment to UK audiences. As a Publicist you will support imaginative and impactful campaigns for theatrical releases and Disney+ Studios content, working closely with Publicity Managers and cross‑functional partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support Publicity Managers in developing and delivering industry‑leading publicity and communications campaigns.
• Coordinate publicity activity across internal teams, media partners and Disney’s wider business lines.
• Collaborate with US publicity and awards teams on screenings, set visits, awards campaigns and UK press activity.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including synergy partners.
• Manage communications planning, publicity calendars and media contact databases.
• Ensure localisation and distribution of publicity assets via platforms such as image.net and DMS.
• Support media outreach, content rollouts, exclusives and pitching across print, broadcast, online and emerging channels.
• Act as point of contact for media enquiries and monitor industry trends.
• Partner with Digital Marketing, Social Media and Influencer teams to engage priority influencers.
• Assist in planning and delivering premieres, screenings and publicity events.

Required skills

• Experience using image.net and DMS for asset distribution.
