Purchasing Advisor - Vehicle Orders

About the role

Ayvens is looking for a Purchasing Advisor to join its growing Procurement Division in Bristol. The division covers all major spend areas, with a focus on the core operational supply chain: vehicle purchasing, order fulfilment and delivery, and in-life services. The role works closely with the fleet and vehicle leasing industry systems.

Key responsibilities

• Receive vehicle quotes and place orders with quality suppliers
• Build strong supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely service throughout the vehicle order-to-delivery process
• Use fleet and vehicle leasing industry systems to place, progress and monitor orders
• Provide high-quality administrative and process support to internal and external customers
• Work with the Operations and Vehicle Procurement teams to adapt quickly to customer and supply chain needs
• Process tasks accurately and proactively, keeping parties informed and anticipating next steps
• Develop knowledge of the vehicle order bank and manufacturer product specifications
• Spot improvement opportunities and simplify processes
• Meet regulatory and service obligations

Required profile

• Solid verbal and written communication
• Experience in a customer service environment (customers or suppliers)
• Good awareness of vehicles on the road, able to identify makes such as Ford and Tesla
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proactive, customer-centred approach
