QC Coordinator – Jewellery

About the role

The Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for safeguarding product quality across De Beers London’s jewellery range. Working within the specialist QC team, you will ensure every piece meets technical, craftsmanship and regulatory standards while supporting smooth stock flow through the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Execute high‑quality inspections on all jewellery categories, verifying technical, craftsmanship and compliance criteria.
• Maintain accurate product data, certifications and quality details in internal systems.
• Coordinate with Logistics and internal teams to ensure correct processing, storage and handling of stock.
• Identify quality issues, escalate risks and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with hallmarking, Chain of Custody and other regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Merchandising, Workshops and suppliers to resolve quality queries.
• Support QC Manager with reporting and analysis to reduce failure costs.
• Assist with daily operational and administrative tasks within the QC function.

Required profile

• Experience in quality control or assurance within jewellery, luxury goods or a related manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards such as hallmarking and Chain of Custody.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage accurate product documentation.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
