Qualified Bus Driver – £16‑21 per hour

About the role

Arriva London is looking for experienced PCV bus drivers to join its fleet in Croydon. You will operate routes across London, delivering reliable service to commuters, tourists, and students while contributing to the company’s greener future.

Key responsibilities

• Operate buses safely on assigned routes, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting passengers with enquiries and ensuring a comfortable journey.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑journey safety checks and report any issues.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents.
• Participate in overtime shifts as required, including evenings and weekends.

Required profile

• Valid PCV (Category D) licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing.
• Minimum 12 months of recent bus driving experience (within the last 4 years) for higher pay rates.
• Flexibility to work rotating shift patterns, including early mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Required skills

• PCV licence (Category D) – mandatory.
