Qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Full‑time

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our early years team in Worthing. You will help create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where young children can learn through play and exploration.

Key responsibilities

• Observe, assess and record each child’s progress and share insights with parents.
• Build supportive relationships with families to enhance learning and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain a safe, clean and culturally respectful setting.
• Report any safeguarding concerns to the Nursery Manager.
• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities that promote holistic development.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (CACHE, NVQ or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Passion for supporting children’s development.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EYFS standards.
• Safeguarding awareness.
