Qualified Nursery Practitioner – Early Years Role

About the role
Join Childbase Partnership as a Qualified Nursery Practitioner at Brinds Well Day Nursery in Chelsfield, Orpington. You will work within a supportive, employee‑owned organisation that values early years education and offers both full‑time and part‑time options.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality, play‑based activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Act as a Key Person for a designated group of children, monitoring and recording their progress.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive environment and uphold safeguarding policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to team‑based planning and reflection.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers about children’s development.
Required profile
- DfE‑approved early years qualification at Level 2 or above.
- Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS and ability to implement it in daily practice.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s wellbeing.
Required skills
- EYFS framework knowledge.

- Salary £27,040‑£32,427 per annum (pro‑rata) or £13.00‑£15.59 per hour.
