Qualified Person (QP) / Senior Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

The Qualified Person (QP) / Senior Quality Assurance Manager will lead quality and compliance activities for Procter & Gamble's UK Personal Health Care portfolio. Based primarily in Weybridge, the role ensures that food supplement products are manufactured, released and distributed in full alignment with UK legislation and global quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Qualified Person for UK operations, certifying batch release and maintaining the certification register.
• Ensure robust GMP, GDP and HACCP compliance through documentation, vendor qualification, auditing and alignment with marketing authorisations.
• Lead quality governance, including deviation management, CAPA definition, tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage critical quality events such as incidents, complaints, recalls and withdrawals, liaising with internal teams, regulators and safety bodies.
• Prepare for and oversee regulatory inspections and approve annual training plans for personnel.

Required profile

• Qualified Person status under UK legislation for medicinal products.
• Extensive experience in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical, food supplement or consumer‑goods sector.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage relationships with suppliers and authorities.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on regulatory compliance and product safety.
