Quality Auditor – 4x4 Shift Pattern

About the role

Join Sofina Foods on Humberstone Road as a Quality Auditor working a 4‑on‑4‑off shift (06:00‑18:00). You will ensure food safety and product quality at every stage of production, from raw material intake to dispatch, supporting the QA Manager and Operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and maintain quality and technical standards within the factory.
• Verify that all customer, legal and internal specifications are met for raw materials, processed and finished products.
• Conduct customer benchmarking, shelf‑life testing, consistency checks and handle complaints, entering results into web‑based systems.
• Report non‑conformances promptly and challenge colleagues to uphold the highest standards.
• Collect samples for laboratory testing and support production to ensure food‑safety compliance.
• Promote “right first‑time” behaviours across multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform regular checks to ensure adherence to specifications and support customer audits.
• Collaborate with Production and NPD teams to maintain smooth site operations and technical compliance.

Required profile

• Level 3 Food Hygiene (or equivalent).
• Experience in quality auditing and internal auditing.
• Root‑cause analysis capability.
• Intermediate HACCP knowledge.
• Experience working in chilled environments and knowledge of fish products.
• Ability to participate in audits and a personal commitment to role‑model behaviours.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
