About the role
Boeing Sheffield is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support the production of flight‑critical hardware for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will help ensure that components meet aerospace standards and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Review and validate product non‑conformances, dispositions, and quality procedures.
- Support root‑cause investigations and provide data‑driven recommendations.
- Assist in developing corrective and preventive actions and track their implementation.
- Verify that internal replication systems comply with company and regulatory standards.
- Conduct audits of media handling and storage per engineering requirements.
- Prepare reports and coordinate distribution with relevant stakeholders.
Required profile
- Experience inspecting parts for conformance using measurement equipment.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with AS9100‑approved manufacturing environments.
- Basic mathematical skills (trigonometry, fractions, percentages, ratios).
