Quality Controller

About the role

The Quality Controller will own quality assurance across Made‑to‑Measure, Bespoke, and Ready‑to‑Wear garment categories, ensuring every piece meets the brand’s Savile Row standards before reaching the client. This position blends hands‑on inspection with structured quality management, process improvement, and risk prevention.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of QC processes across MTM, Bespoke, and RTW, conducting final garment inspections and verifying measurement points.
• Produce structured QC reports with actionable insights, identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain clear documentation of findings and monitor reject and alteration rates to protect margins.
• Ensure consistent measuring standards across internal tailors and external ateliers, establishing QC checklists and review protocols.
• Oversee allocation and turnaround of alteration work, performing final QC checks on altered garments.
• Manage logging of incoming orders, barcode tracking, and preparation of outgoing shipments with accurate documentation.
• Generate daily QC and alteration summary reports, highlighting delivery risks, reject rates, alteration volume, remake frequency, and supplier performance.
• Proactively suggest QC process improvements, introduce preventive checks, and contribute to SOP development and training.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ownership of quality control processes in garment production.
• Ability to produce structured QC reports and provide actionable insights.
• Experience monitoring reject and alteration rates and implementing corrective actions.
• Capability to work with internal tailors and external ateliers to align measurement methods.
• Proactive attitude toward identifying recurring issues and driving process improvements.
