Radiotherapy Physics Summer Internship (1 month)

About the role

This is a fixed‑term, one‑month summer internship in Radiotherapy Physics. You will work on a project focused on radiotherapy service development while gaining hands‑on experience in a clinical medical physics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out a defined project related to radiotherapy service development.
• Assist, under supervision, with administrative tasks linked to treatment planning.
• Support quality control activities for radiotherapy treatment machines and related equipment.
• Contribute to routine aspects of radiotherapy service delivery alongside Clinical Scientists and Clinical Technologists.

Required profile

• Graduate or student intending to apply for the Scientist Training Programme (STP) in Radiotherapy.
• Strong interest in medical physics and radiotherapy service improvement.
• Ability to work under supervision in a clinical setting.
• Friendly, sociable attitude and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Radiotherapy treatment planning knowledge.
• Quality control of radiotherapy equipment.
