Real Estate Lawyer – Public Sector Projects

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a qualified Real Estate Lawyer to join its nationally recognised Public Law & Projects team. The role offers the chance to work on large‑scale regeneration, infrastructure and energy projects that shape communities across England and Wales.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on complex real‑estate transactions linked to public‑sector developments, including PFI and long‑term arrangements.
• Support large‑scale regeneration, housing, education, energy and heat‑network schemes.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with public‑sector bodies.
• Contribute to business‑development and profile‑raising activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues across the national team.
• Mentor and support junior team members where appropriate.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
• At least 3 years post‑qualification experience with a focus on real‑estate transactions.
• Excellent technical drafting and transactional abilities.
• Proven capacity to manage complex matters and competing deadlines.
• Commercial, practical problem‑solving approach.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Interest in public‑sector, regeneration or infrastructure work.
