Real Estate Solicitor – Commercial Real Estate – 2-6 Years PQE – Glasgow

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Real Estate Solicitor, trained in English law, to join our independent Glasgow office. The role offers early responsibility, a hybrid working model and the chance to build your own client relationships across commercial property matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and complete sale and purchase contracts and transfers for commercial properties.
• Examine title documents and provide clear reports to clients.
• Draft, negotiate and complete commercial lease agreements.
• Act for lenders, prepare borrower certificates of title and manage secured lending transactions.
• Manage own workload efficiently to meet client and firm objectives.
• Maintain accurate financial control, time recording and billing.
• Support colleagues across the wider Real Estate team.

Required profile

• 2‑6 years post‑qualification experience in English commercial real estate conveyancing.
• Clear, concise communication without unnecessary jargon.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
• Confident, personable and skilled at building client relationships.
• Commitment to delivering a high‑quality client experience.
