Real Estate Solicitor – Residential Property Specialist

About the role

G2 Legal Limited, a respected regional law firm, is looking for an experienced Real Estate Solicitor to join its forward‑thinking property team in Kidderminster. You will manage a varied residential property caseload while contributing to business development and client relationship initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a broad caseload of residential freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Advise on transfers of equity, remortgages, new‑build transactions, shared ownership and Help to Buy matters.
• Handle lease extensions and residential landlord‑tenant matters as required.
• Conduct title investigations, raise and respond to enquiries, and prepare detailed title reports.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors to ensure efficient transaction progress.
• Oversee files from instruction through post‑completion with appropriate supervision.
• Deliver outstanding client service while maintaining high technical and professional standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years post‑qualification experience in residential real estate/property law.
• Proven ability to manage a busy residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Excellent technical knowledge of residential property transactions and Land Registry requirements.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Outstanding client care and communication skills.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
• Collaborative team player with a commercial and client‑focused approach.
