Reception and Hospitality Host

About the role

Portico is looking for a friendly and proactive Reception and Hospitality Host to join its new Guest Services team at the Manchester office of a global consultancy. You will be the first point of contact for staff and visitors, ensuring a seamless, high‑quality experience while supporting office operations and hospitality services.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome employees, clients and visitors, managing the front‑desk phone system.
• Coordinate and prepare meeting rooms, including set‑up, AV equipment checks and post‑meeting clean‑up.
• Provide hospitality support such as furniture moves, basic kitchen duties, and maintaining vending and tea points.
• Assist with the planning and execution of on‑site events and ad‑hoc after‑hours activities.
• Identify and suggest improvements to reception and hospitality processes.
