Recreation Assistant – Luxury Hotel Residence

About the role

Join the Recreation team at One Hyde Park, a flagship residence serviced by Mandarin Oriental. You will ensure the spa, pool, and event spaces are immaculate, safe, and ready for use while delivering the 5‑star service expected by VVIP residents.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain hygiene standards across all recreation facilities, cleaning and sanitising after each use.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks in line with operating procedures.
• Replenish stock and amenities throughout the spa and pool areas.
• Set up and dismantle meeting, cinema, and virtual rooms for events.
• Supervise the pool area with basic lifeguard duties (training provided).
• Open and close the facility as required.
• Handle reservations and answer telephone calls in the absence of the supervisor/receptionist.

Required profile

• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience delivering 5‑star service in hospitality.
• Proven customer‑facing experience and ability to work under pressure.
• Proactive attitude with a flexible approach to shift work, including weekends and bank holidays.
