Recruitment Consultant – Audit, Risk & Compliance

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to own and grow a well‑established Audit, Risk & Compliance (ARC) interim desk serving the public sector. This role offers the chance to capitalise on a regulation‑driven market with strong, consistent demand.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand a public‑sector focused ARC interim desk.
• Build and nurture relationships with public‑sector clients, identifying off‑contract spend and new opportunities.
• Deliver end‑to‑end interim recruitment solutions across audit, risk, governance and compliance roles.
• Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for key ARC skillsets.
• Collaborate with an experienced manager of the permanent ARC desk to leverage cross‑selling opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven recruitment experience (temporary/interim preferred, permanent also considered).
• Interest or experience in audit, risk, governance or compliance markets.
• Confidence in business development and client engagement.
• Commercial awareness and ambition to scale a high‑potential desk.
