Recruitment Consultant

About the role

Sharp Consultancy is expanding its high‑performance recruitment team in Yorkshire. As a Recruitment Consultant you will manage the full 360° recruitment cycle for finance and accountancy roles, building and nurturing relationships with both candidates and client organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage candidate pipelines – sourcing, calling, registering and shortlisting.
• Develop and maintain client relationships through calls, meetings and business development activities.
• Create and place job advertisements, screen applications and conduct initial assessments.
• Network internally and externally, organise and host recruitment events.
• Oversee Preferred Supplier List (PSL) management and conversion.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and preparation for candidates and clients.
• Handle offer management, negotiation and closing.
• Maintain key accounts and ensure high levels of service delivery.

Required profile

• Background in sales or recruitment, with a strong desire to progress in a finance‑focused recruitment business.
• Degree‑level education is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Motivated, ambitious and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
