Recruitment Consultant – Private Equity Finance (Manchester)

About the role

We are seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join a fast‑growing executive search firm that specialises in finance and accountancy recruitment for private‑equity‑backed businesses. Based in Manchester City Centre, you will work on high‑value retained assignments, supporting hires from newly qualified finance professionals to CFO and C‑suite roles.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage senior‑level relationships with private‑equity firms and high‑growth companies.
• Source, assess and present finance candidates for retained mandates.
• Deliver a consultative, relationship‑led recruitment process from initial brief to placement.
• Leverage the firm’s data‑driven intelligence platform to provide market insights to clients and candidates.
• Represent the business at networking events, leadership dinners and market‑focused meet‑ups.

Required profile

• Previous recruitment experience, preferably within professional services, finance or executive search.
• Strong interest in building senior‑level relationships and delivering high‑quality hires.
• Ambitious, self‑motivated and comfortable working in a data‑driven environment.
