About the role

Join Gattaca's Rail Professional Services team as a Recruitment Consultant, focusing on permanent placements within the rail design sector. You will inherit an established desk with live opportunities and the freedom to shape its future.

Key responsibilities

• Source and place professionals across rail design, structural engineering, building systems, and consultancy services.
• Support major infrastructure programmes such as HS2, the Transpennine Route Upgrade, and projects across Ireland.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, delivering tailored recruitment solutions.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle autonomously, from market research to offer negotiation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in permanent recruitment, preferably within rail or related engineering sectors.
• Commercially driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Ability to work independently, manage a personal desk, and build client pipelines.
• Open to candidates from construction, engineering, design, or professional services backgrounds.
