Recruitment Consultant – Temporary Desk

About the role

Reed is seeking a motivated Recruitment Consultant to join its Business Support division in Harrogate. You will run your own temporary‑desk, building client relationships and delivering end‑to‑end recruitment solutions across Yorkshire.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Proactively generate business to maintain a steady pipeline of vacancies.
• Understand client hiring needs through regular communication.
• Manage vacancies from brief to placement, including sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates.
• Support candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Maintain workload, activity levels and compliance.

• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.

• Commercial awareness with a motivation to achieve results.
• Comfortable with a fast‑paced, phone‑focused environment.
