Refrigeration Class 1 Driver – Days/Nights – Portsmouth

About the role

We are seeking a Refrigeration Class 1 Driver (Cat C+E, HGV1, LGV1) for temporary assignments covering days, nights and weekends in the Portsmouth/Chichester area. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £17‑£26 and flexible shift patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Operate refrigerated HGVs for a mix of RDC, local depot and commercial deliveries.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and electronic records, including break times in line with WTD regulations.
• Ensure compliance with agency and client procedures and UK road‑network regulations.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Holder of a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) card.
• Digital Tachograph card and experience using palm couplings.
• 6 months to 1 year of refrigerated HGV driving experience.
• Good spoken and written English and solid knowledge of the UK motorway network.
