Regional Sales Director - UK

About the role

The Marketing Centre is seeking a Regional Sales Director for the UK to lead business development, sales, client management and team performance across the region. You will act as the face of the company, driving growth and ensuring high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all regionally based business development activity and motivate team members to generate leads.
• Build strong relationships with distribution partners and the regional business community.
• Serve as the primary contact for new business leads, manage the sales process, and secure signed contracts.
• Maintain accurate CRM data in HubSpot and contribute to LinkedIn content generation.
• Develop and sustain client relationships, aiming for an average 18‑month client lifespan.
• Oversee Marketing Directors within each client, ensuring effective work plans and regular review meetings.
• Conduct quarterly 1‑2‑1s, set goals, and monitor team utilisation (60‑75%).
• Lead regional team meetings, provide monthly training/coaching, and encourage attendance at TMC conferences.
• Participate in recruitment, capacity planning, and monthly invoicing reporting.

Required profile

• Proven leadership ability and consultative selling approach.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Understanding of SME business issues and varied sector experience.
• Ideally MBA‑qualified with experience in business sale/exit processes.
• Motivated by results, self‑starter with high energy.
