Registered Manager – Children’s Home (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties)

About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Registered Manager to lead one of Devon County Council’s eight children’s homes in Tiverton, specialising in supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and neuro‑diversity.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality care.
- Ensure the home operates in line with individual care plans and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with external professionals and services to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people.
- Promote a child‑centred approach and drive continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing a children’s home and creating a warm, welcoming environment.
- Strong leadership, organisational and management capabilities.
- In‑depth knowledge of safeguarding, quality assurance and relevant legislation (Ofsted, Children’s Homes Regulations 2015).
- QCF Level 5 diploma (or willingness to undertake it).
- Full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle and business insurance.
