Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care (Surrey)

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced and accountable Registered Manager to lead our established home‑care branch in Surrey. You will be fully responsible for the strategic and operational success of the service, ensuring total CQC compliance while managing care delivery for a diverse client group, including adults and live‑in care.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Registered Manager with full accountability for CQC standards and the Health and Social Care Act, leading bimonthly audits and maintaining inspection readiness.
• Manage safeguarding as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring compliance with the Care Act and MCA/DoLS.
• Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, payroll accuracy, invoicing, credit control and care‑hour reconciliation.
• Drive business growth by converting enquiries into care packages and meeting monthly KPIs.
• Lead and develop office and field‑based teams, implementing robust training, induction and “Train the Trainer” programmes.
• Ensure safe client onboarding, assessments and person‑centred care planning, and maintain the digital rota system for safe staffing levels.
• Investigate complaints, manage feedback loops and participate in on‑call emergency cover when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Registered or Care Manager within a domiciliary or complex care setting (minimum 2‑3 years).
• Deep knowledge of CQC regulations and the Health and Social Care Act.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, KPI management and payroll oversight.
• Excellent leadership skills with a focus on performance management and team development.
• Proficiency in digital care management systems and a full UK driving licence.
