Registered Nurse – Full-time Care Home

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Nurse to join our care home in Abingdon. The role is full‑time, 48 hours per week, covering weekdays and alternate weekends, and involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to our residents.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain electronic nursing care plans for each resident.
• Supervise the care team and identify training and development needs.
• Dispense and administer prescribed medication, keeping accurate records.
• Manage stock control and ordering of residents’ medication and medical products.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, COSHH and care standards legislation.

Required profile

• Warm, supportive and caring nature with a desire to build meaningful relationships with residents.
• Willingness to work weekdays and alternate weekends on 12‑hour shifts.
• Commitment to uphold statutory and legal requirements in a care setting.
