Registered Nurse – Outpatient/Minor Ops (Perth Clinic)

About the role

Join Spire Healthcare’s new Perth Clinic in Scotland as a Registered Nurse, supporting the launch of a private outpatient and minor operations service. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing care in a fast‑moving clinic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Run nurse‑led dressing and phlebotomy clinics.
• Assist in pre‑operative minor procedures.
• Provide medicines management, urodynamics, colposcopy, ECG, POCT and diagnostics.
• Deliver wound care, swabs, infection prevention and control, wound assessment and dressing.
• Perform chaperone duties and other tasks delegated by the Clinical Services Manager or General Manager.
• Ensure smooth operation of the department and high patient satisfaction.

Required profile

• Current NMC registration with no restrictions.
• Experience in out‑patient, minor operations, GP practice or similar settings.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Minor Ops / Theatre / Endoscopy / Ophthalmology / Dental‑Maxfax (or similar) experience.
• Medicines management.
• Urodynamics.
• Colposcopy.
• Phlebotomy.
• ECG.
• Point‑of‑care testing (POCT).
• Diagnostics.
• Wound care and dressing.
• Infection prevention and control (IPC).
• Chaperone skills.
