Registered Nurse – Residential Care Home

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Trevern Residential and Nursing Home in Falmouth. You will deliver high‑quality nursing care to older residents, supporting their wellbeing in a not‑for‑profit environment that reinvests all earnings back into staff and homes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in line with the NMC Code.
• Apply research‑based clinical knowledge and competence.
• Maintain accurate communication and record‑keeping.
• Manage holistic care and respond to emergency situations.
• Lead a team of care professionals with kindness and compassion.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams.
• Support the learning and development of clinical colleagues and student nurses.
• Respect and value the individual needs of older people.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification and current NMC registration.
• Experience in social‑care nursing or willingness to transition into this sector.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong focus on resident‑centred care.
