Regulatory & Healthcare Solicitor – 7+ Years PQE, £70k+

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory and Healthcare Solicitor to join our Birmingham team. The role offers a blend of advisory and contentious work across health, social care and education, providing a stimulating environment for a senior lawyer.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on a wide range of health, social care and education matters, both contentious and non‑contentious.
• Manage a varied caseload of advisory and litigation matters, including inquests and regulatory investigations.
• Conduct advocacy at Court of Protection hearings and relevant tribunals.
• Contribute to client care initiatives and support business development activities, particularly with local authority clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years post‑qualification experience in healthcare and regulatory law.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Commercially minded, proactive and solutions‑focused approach.
• Team‑oriented with a track record of building lasting relationships.
