Relationship Support Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Relationship Support Officer to join a well‑established international banking organisation in Harrow. The role sits within the Branch Banking team and offers a clear pathway to develop expertise across Corporate, Commercial and SME banking.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers with day‑to‑day portfolio management and client servicing.
• Prepare and process credit proposals, including balance‑sheet, cash‑flow and income‑statement analysis.
• Review documentation, account activity, payment history and facility information.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and respond promptly to queries.
• Monitor account performance, credit movements, overdue documents and payments.
• Support renewals of limits, insurance policies, stock reports and facility documentation.
• Liaise with Operations, Credit and other internal departments to ensure efficient servicing.
• Attend client meetings alongside Relationship Managers and prepare call reports.
• Ensure accurate record‑keeping and compliance with internal processes and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of banking experience, preferably in branch, SME or corporate banking.
• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong understanding of banking products, financial analysis and credit writing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail, organisational ability and a proactive team attitude.
• Preferably bilingual in English and Urdu and/or Punjabi.
