Relief Support Worker – Flexible Shifts in Carlisle

About the role

Join our award‑winning residential care home in Carlisle as a Relief Support Worker. This flexible, temporary position lets you pick up shifts that fit around personal commitments, study or caring responsibilities, while supporting older adults, including those living with dementia.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care, assistance with medication, diet, nutrition and healthy living.
• Support residents with household tasks and encourage participation in social activities both inside and outside the home.
• Develop warm, trusting relationships with service users.
• Carry out general administrative and housing‑management duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience supporting older adults with dementia.
• Warm, caring, trustworthy and committed to the welfare of others.
• Reliable, flexible and able to work evenings, weekends and sleep‑ins.
• Eligible to work in the UK and based in the UK.
