About the role
Sleek is seeking a remote Accountant to join its UK‑based team. You will work from anywhere in the United Kingdom while collaborating daily with the Leeds office, delivering high‑quality accounting services to a portfolio of growing businesses.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare year‑end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
- File corporation tax and VAT returns accurately and efficiently.
- Handle bookkeeping and personal tax workflows where required.
- Manage a client portfolio end‑to‑end and ensure a world‑class customer experience.
Required profile
- AAT qualification minimum with at least 2 years post‑qualification experience.
- Solid working knowledge of UK GAAP, corporation tax and VAT.
- Proven ability to independently manage year‑end statutory accounts.
- UK‑based with unrestricted right‑to‑work.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Xero (or ability to learn quickly).
- Understanding of UK GAAP.
- Knowledge of corporation tax.
- Knowledge of VAT.
