Remote Tax Consultant (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Consultant to join a leading finance organization on a remote contract basis. You will apply your expertise in U.S. federal and state tax law to help train next‑generation AI systems, ensuring high‑quality, real‑world input for financial models.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze U.S. federal and state tax statutes, focusing on statutory language, conditions, thresholds, and legal exceptions.
• Review and evaluate English translations of complex tax laws for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide structured written feedback through a review UI to ensure regulatory compliance and high‑quality output.
• Identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in tax documentation using logical reasoning.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional team members and stakeholders to clarify interpretations and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of U.S. tax law, including statutes, regulations, and court decisions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient written communication skills for clear feedback.
• Logical reasoning and critical‑thinking capabilities.
