Remote Trial Lawyer – Litigation AI Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned trial lawyer to help shape next‑generation legal reasoning systems. Working remotely, you will design realistic litigation scenarios, evaluate AI‑generated outputs, and provide structured feedback that improves how models handle civil litigation.

Key responsibilities

• Design legally realistic litigation scenarios covering motions, discovery, depositions, briefs, and case strategy.
• Write attorney‑level reference responses to serve as benchmarks for model evaluation.
• Grade model‑generated outputs against structured rubrics and established legal standards.
• Provide detailed written feedback to research teams to enhance model behavior and reasoning quality.
• Participate in onboarding sessions and specialty calibration to ensure consistency across evaluations.

Required profile

• Strong experience in civil litigation at a law firm, government agency, or legal department.
• J.D. (U.S.) or LL.B./LL.M. from an accredited law school with active licensure to practice law.
• Excellent written communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Background in employment litigation, patent litigation, or other litigation niches is a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with e‑discovery tools such as Relativity.
• Experience with document coding and privilege review processes.
