Renal/Dialysis Nurse – Long‑Term Locum in Cumbria

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Renal/Dialysis Nurse for a long‑term locum placement in Cumbria. The role offers stability through a block booking until February 2027, with the possibility of extension, and allows you to work within a supportive NHS renal unit while enjoying the flexibility of agency work.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective haemodialysis treatment to patients in a UK hospital setting.
• Monitor patient vitals, respond to emergencies, and maintain accurate treatment records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality renal care.
• Adhere to infection control and health‑safety protocols.

Required profile

• Valid NMC registration.
• Recent UK renal and dialysis nursing experience (minimum 6 months).
• Proven haemodialysis competency within a UK hospital.
• Right to work in the UK and up‑to‑date occupational health/immunisation records.
