About the role
Join a collaborative finance team as a Rent and Service Charge Accountant, where you will influence business decisions and improve financial processes. This role goes beyond routine bookkeeping, focusing on rent and service charge accounting across finance, housing, and operational teams.
Key responsibilities
- Own rent and service charge accounting, ensuring accurate reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Support annual rent reviews and service charge budgeting.
- Perform reconciliations, financial analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Housing, and Operations to maintain robust financial controls.
Required profile
- Ambitious finance professional with strong relationship‑building and problem‑solving abilities.
- Professional qualification (or working towards one) in accounting.
- Experience in management or financial accounting, preferably within housing or rent/service charge environments.
