Research Analyst – Latin America

About the role

Chambers & Partners is seeking a native Spanish speaker to join its Latin America research team in London. Working two days a week on‑site, you will contribute to the production of the highly regarded Chambers Rankings by gathering and analysing market intelligence across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct background research on assigned practice areas and jurisdictions.
• Identify and contact lawyers, in‑house counsel and other experts for interviews.
• Carry out probing telephone or online questionnaire interviews in Spanish.
• Log all communications and track research progress accurately.
• Develop relationships with key market participants and pursue additional research leads.
• Analyse interview data to produce impartial ranking tables.
• Write business‑focused editorials for the Chambers website and guide publications.

Required profile

• Fluent in Spanish (written and spoken) and excellent English communication skills.
• University degree with an interest or experience in Latin American legal research.
• Comfortable speaking on the phone with professionals from diverse backgrounds.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
