About the role

Resident doctors currently rotating within NHS Forth Valley are invited to join the NHS Forth Valley Staff Bank. This internal bank position enables doctors to take on short‑term clinical assignments across the Forth Valley health board while remaining in their current training rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical care on a bank‑basis as required by NHS Forth Valley hospitals and community settings.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to NHS clinical standards.
• Collaborate with supervising consultants and the medical workforce team during each assignment.

Required profile

• Resident doctor currently on rotation within NHS Forth Valley.
• Valid 16‑digit PVG membership number.
• Occupational health clearance confirming fitness to work.
• Reference from your clinical supervisor.
• Eligibility to practice in the United Kingdom (GMC registration with supervision).
